Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts cooked and diced
  • ¼ cup Honey Garlic Sauce
  • ¼ cup Buffalo Wing Sauce or plain hot sauce, like Frank’s Red Hot
  • 2 heads Romaine Lettuce chopped and washed
  • 3 –6 Tablespoons Ranch Dressing or any dressing of choice
  • ½ medium Red Onion diced
  • 1 large Red Bell Pepper diced
  • ½ large Cucumber diced
  • Cheese optional, shredded for topping

Method

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
  2. Cook the chicken breasts using your preferred method (stovetop, grill, or oven). Ensure they are fully cooked and then dice them into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Step 2: Make the Sauce
  4. In a small bowl, combine the honey garlic sauce and buffalo wing sauce (or hot sauce) until well mixed. The amount of hot sauce can be adjusted to your spice preference.
  5. Step 3: Marinate the Chicken
  6. Add the diced chicken to the sauce mixture and toss to coat thoroughly. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  7. Step 4: Prepare the Salad Base
  8. Chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and wash thoroughly. Dice the red onion, red bell pepper, and cucumber.
  9. Step 5: Assemble the Salad
  10. In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, red onion, red bell pepper, and cucumber. Drizzle with ranch dressing (or your preferred dressing) and toss gently to coat the vegetables.
  11. Step 6: Top with Chicken
  12. Place the honey hot chicken on top of the salad base. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken and salad.
