Traditional Kashmiri Pink Chai

Kashmiri Pink Chai, also known as Noon Chai (literally "Salt Tea"), is a distinctive and visually stunning beverage hailing from the picturesque valleys of Kashmir. This traditional tea is more than just a drink; it's an experience, steeped in history, culture, and the warmth of Kashmiri hospitality. Unlike typical teas, Kashmiri Pink Chai boasts a unique rosy hue, a creamy texture, and a subtly salty-sweet flavor profile that tantalizes the taste buds. It is traditionally prepared with special Kashmiri green tea leaves, baking soda, whole milk, and an aromatic blend of spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. Served hot, it is a comforting and invigorating beverage, especially cherished during the cold winter months.
